Glamping – Glamourous Camping?
Yes, it actually exists!
Can be booked for stays between 1st of May and 15th of September.
At Gammelmark Strand Camping, you don’t even have to bring your own tent. Here you can rent big glamping-tents that we have already put up for you. The large villa tent is located directly opposite the main building, where you will find WC and bathroom, family rooms, kitchen and laundry room.
The tent is sheltered from the wind and has evening sun, as well as a view of the sea towards Dybbøl Mill and the town of Sonderburg. The tents are built on a wooden base with a wooden terrace in front of.
The tent has a thermal roof, carpet and curtains, permanently installed electric light and a power connection.
The sleeping areas are in two cabins with fixed beds.
Max. four persons.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, coffee machine, kettle, pots, cutlery and crockery for six people.
The tents have a big common room with tables, sofas and chairs that can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Duvets, pillows and blankets can be rented, but it is also possible to bring your own.
A luxurious alternative to a normal carry-on tent! Frequently visited by the hikers on the Gendarme Path that prefer blankets over sleeping bags.
As an alternative to our tent, we also offer cabins, bed & breakfast and two new caravans.

At Gammelmark, you can stay close to the ones at home while on vacation with our free Wi-Fi. You will receive a Wi-Fi code upon check-in and from there on, you have unlimited access.
Unfortunately we can’t promise you high speed connection during weeks where we are fully booked.
Electricity
You can get electricity on all our pitches, billed according to actual consumption.
When you check in, you will receive a card that you can top up with credit for our electricity tapping points. The same card is also used for the barrier at the driveway, for the family bathroom, the swimming pool and the laundry room. If you need an adapter to use our power outlets, you can borrow one from reception on arrival. Our power sockets use CEE plugs.
Dogs are welcome
Bei Gammelmark Strand Camping lieben wir Hunde – wir haben sogar einen Bürohund. Wir haben allerdings ein paar Regeln für unsere vierbeinigen Freunde.
We ask for your understanding that not all our guests share the same enthusiasm for dogs as we do. We would therefore like to point out that dogs must always be kept on a leash on our premises. It is also your responsibility to clean up your dog’s droppings – please make sure you pick them up.
If you remember this tiny set of rules, we might have a treat for your dog in the reception. We can’t wait to say hi!
