At Gammelmark Strand Camping you don’t even need to bring your own tent for the ultimate camping experience. Our shelter tents offer you an unforgettable camping holiday on the beautiful Vemmingbund Bay. Comfort and spaciousness without the hassle of assembly and disassembly.
This popular camping option for hikers and families (max. 4 people) is both close to nature and comfortable. The “hygge” factor is always present and is very important here in Denmark. The spacious tents are equipped with a solid floor, carpet, tables and chairs for indoor and outdoor use, as well as power connections. Your faithful four-legged friends are also welcome in our shelter tents, but cleaning is compulsory at the end of your holiday.
In the immediate vicinity are our service buildings, where you will find WC and bathroom, family rooms, kitchen and laundry room. If it’s too cold for swimming in Vemmingbund Bay, you’ll also find a pool area in the upper part of the campsite, which offers plenty of space for swimming, playing and sunbathing. There are also play areas for our younger guests at Gammelmark Strand Camping.

Please note: When booking for the “Kong Frederik” camping area, you cannot choose your pitch freely.
As an alternative to our tents, we also offer cabins, bed breakfasts and two new caravans.
Free WLAN
At Gammelmark, you can stay close to the ones at home while on vacation with our free Wi-Fi. You will receive a Wi-Fi code upon check-in and from there on, you have unlimited access.
Unfortunately we can’t promise you high speed connection during weeks where we are fully booked.
Electricity
You can get electricity on all our pitches, billed according to actual consumption.
When you check in, you will receive a card that you can top up with credit for our electricity tapping points. The same card is also used for the barrier at the driveway, for the family bathroom, the swimming pool and the laundry room. If you need an adapter to use our power outlets, you can borrow one from reception on arrival. Our power sockets use CEE plugs.
Dogs are welcome
At Gammelmark Strand Camping we love dogs – we even have an office dog. However, we do have a few rules for our four-legged friends.
We ask for your understanding that not all our guests share the same enthusiasm for dogs as we do. We would therefore like to point out that dogs must always be kept on a leash on our premises. It is also your responsibility to clean up your dog’s droppings – please make sure you pick them up.
If you remember this tiny set of rules, we might have a treat for your dog in the reception. We can’t wait to say hi!
