For experienced surfers, Gammelmark is a perfect base for great surfing experiences. There are flat waters to start from and when it blows, there is usually wind from westerly or easterly directions along the bay. This means exceptionally good wind speeds and fast surfing. There is a grassy area on the beach where you can set up and take down your surfing equipment in safety.

Our “Kong Frederik” and “Dronning Dagmar” areas are located directly on the water and there is free access to the beach. At the back of the “Kong Frederik” area you will find facilities to rinse off your surf suits and equipment.
